Royal Jordanian Falcons
“Promoting the art and science of aviation” is very much in line with “join the new generation”, so the next team fits the central theme of the Belgian Air Force Days 2023 perfectly!
The late King Hussein founded this demonstration team in 1976 to promote friendship between peoples, in addition to the art and science of flying, and they soon achieved world fame: the Royal Jordanian Falcons.
Today they fly four ultra-manoeuvrable Extra 300LX aircraft, criss-crossing
Europe during the summer to carry out their commendable mission. They succeed wonderfully thanks to their smooth, elegant demonstration in which aerobatics with both positive and negative Gs in tight formation alternate with breathtaking solo maneuvers that demonstrate the stunning flying characteristics of this German-made aircraft to the fullest.
The team is based at Aqaba on the beautiful Jordanian coast where they perfect their unique demonstration during winter. This thorough preparation enables these professionals to always give the best of themselves to conquer the hearts and minds of young and old alike, time and again.
Be inspired by their magical demonstration and meet the team during the Belgian Air Force Days at Kleine-Brogel on 9 and 10 September.
