The BAF DAYS 2026 are shaping up to be spectacular, and we are delighted to reveal the first two nations joining the line‑up of this must‑see edition for aviation enthusiasts: Croatia 🇭🇷 and Switzerland.
Two prestigious display teams, two styles, two traditions… and one shared goal: offering the Belgian public an exceptional airshow.
Croatia presents the Wings of Storm – Krila Oluje
We are honoured to welcome the Wings of Storm, or Krila Olujethe official aerobatic display team of the Croatian Air Force.
Created to showcase the skill, discipline and teamwork of the Croatian Air Force, the team flies six Pilatus PC‑9M aircraft, robust and highly manoeuvrable training aircraft.
Remarkably, unlike many European aerobatic teams, the Wings of Storm pilots are also instructors for future Croatian aviators and do not have aircraft dedicated exclusively to demonstrations.
Their display programme is known for its sophistication and high level of difficulty, with impressive manoeuvres such as formation tailslides and spins, rarely performed in tight formation.
The team’s name pays tribute to the Croatian “Oluja” (Storm) operation carried out during the 1990s War of Independence, symbolising national unity and strength.
The Croatian Air Force has recently modernised its training fleet with the acquisition of Pilatus PC‑7 MkX aircraft, complementing the PC‑9M currently used in demonstrations.
The Wings of Storm are set to deliver a precise, polished, and spectacular performance—an opening announcement that sets the bar very high for BAF DAYS 2026.
Switzerland returns with the legendary Patrouille Suisse
The second confirmed nation needs no introduction: the famous Patrouille Suisse will be returning to Belgium for the BAF DAYS 2026!
Founded in 1964 and celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2024, this iconic team is one of Europe’s most respected aerobatic formations. Throughout the years, they have performed at numerous Belgian airshows, reflecting the strong ties between our two countries.
Since 1995, the Patrouille Suisse has flown the elegant and agile F‑5 Tiger for its displays.
Six aircraft take to the skies, giving their demonstrations a unique character: these are operational fighter jets still in active service with the Swiss Air Force—a rarity among aerobatic teams.
Their participation in 2026 carries special significance: the team may soon cease flying the F‑5, making their appearance at the BAF DAYS a unique opportunity to admire these iconic jets before a potential transition to other aircraft.
And this is only the beginning…
Croatia and Switzerland are just the first nations announced for the BAF DAYS 2026.
More participants will be revealed in the coming weeks, with plenty of exciting surprises ahead.
Stay tuned as we gradually unveil the complete line‑up of an edition that already promises to be unforgettable !
