Its presence will allow the public to discover up close a key aircraft of aeronautical training in Belgium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Beauvechain Air Base: pillar of pilot training<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 1996, the SF\u2011260 has been used by Beauvechain Air Base for basic flight training. It enables students to acquire the fundamental skills essential for any future military pilot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This phase is essential: it makes it possible to assess the actual aptitude for military flying. At the end of this phase, students are directed towards a track: helicopters, fighter aircraft or transport, depending on their results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An aircraft designed for training<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The SF\u2011260 Siai\u202fMarchetti is a light training aircraft known for its manoeuvrability its robustness and its educational qualities.
