BAFDAYS 2026 is proud to welcome the Wings of Storm Krila Oluje<\/em> in Croatian\u2014for a full weekend of demonstrations. They are the official aerobatic display team of the Croatian Air Force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

An iconic team with a unique role<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Created to showcase the skill, discipline, and teamwork of the Croatian Air Force, the team flies six Pilatus PC-9M aircraft\u2014high performance, agile, and perfectly suited for aerobatics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A remarkable fact: their pilots are also instructors for the next generation of Croatian aviators. Unlike many European aerobatic teams, they do not have aircraft dedicated solely to demonstrations. Their expertise relies on a unique balance between training missions and high-level aerobatic practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A display known for its technical sophistication<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Wings of Storm are renowned for their highly technical and demanding display, including figures rarely seen in tight formation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    These challenging manoeuvres highlight their precision, coordination, and aerial mastery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A name with historical significance<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The name Krila Oluje<\/em> (\u201cWings of the Storm\u201d) pays tribute to Operation Oluja (\u201cStorm\u201d), conducted during Croatia\u2019s war of independence in the 1990s. It symbolizes national strength, resilience, and unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Modernisation underway<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Croatia has recently acquired Pilatus PC 7 MkX aircraft, modern trainers for future pilots, complementing the PC 9M currently used by the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
